Origin: It grows naturally in the Mediterranean Region and North America.
Morphology: Its flowers can be red, lavender, pink, orange, yellow or white.

Planting spacing and distance: During planting, a distance of 20-25 cm should be left between seedlings.
Climate: Loves calcareous soils with plenty of humus, loose, permeable and rich in nutrients, well fertilized. Plenty of water should be given on hot summer days. In order to obtain a large number of flowers, tips should be taken from the middle shoots when they reach 8–10 cm.
Usage: It can be used easily in balconies, terraces and flower pots. Stunted ones are used as border plants.
Disease-Pests: Young plants should be sprayed against pythium and rhizoctonia. Mildew, powdery mildew, snapdragon rust, leaf and stem disease, botrytis and spider are the most common problems.
